Pre-spawn smallmouth bass fishing 2024

Now that our pre-spawn smallie fishing is done, we’re moving on to some late spring fishing for them post-spawn and musky fishing into the middle of June as well. it was a great season for the guides and their clients, with almost every day seeing clients catch their personal best smallmouth bass. we had over a dozen folks catch citation bass this year on the fly. hot flies for the season were Blane Chocklett’s newly released jerk changer and mike Schultz leggy boi. we’re looking forward to next season, and already booking for 2025 pre-spawn smallmouth bass, so if you’re looking to check off your personal best or citation smallie it is good to get on the books early.
